Corrales, Castillo delayed

The third fight between Diego ``Chico'' Corrales and Jose Luis Castillo will have to wait because Corrales suffered a rib injury during sparring this week, Corrales' promoter said Friday.

 lightweight title bout, scheduled for Feb. 4 in El Paso, Texas, will be moved to the late spring. Castillo will still fight on that date and site against an opponent to be determined.

HOCKEY: Marc Potvin, a minor league hockey coach and former NHL NHL Non-Hodgkin's lymphoma, see there  player with the Kings, was found dead in a Michigan hotel room, hours before his team was to play. He was 38.

Kalamazoo, Mich., police say there was no evidence of foul play.

Potvin coached the Adirondack Frostbite of the United Hockey League, and Friday night's game between the Frostbite frostbite (chilblains), injury to the tissue caused by exposure to cold, usually affecting the extremities of the body, such as the hands, feet, ears, or nose. Extreme cold causes the small blood vessels in the extremities to constrict.  and the Kalamazoo Wings was postponed.

Potvin, a right-winger who played in the NHL for nine seasons, was on the Kings' 1993 Stanley Cup runner-up team. In 23 games with the Kings over two seasons, Potvin had one assist and 87 penalty minutes. The Frostbite is co-owned by his former Kings' coach, Barry Melrose, now a hockey analyst at ESPN ESPN Entertainment and Sports Programming Network .
