, Jasper, Lowell, Pleasant Hill and Trent can attend a meeting Monday night to discuss regional growth scenarios between now and 2050.

The meeting will run from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at El Rey El Rey, which means "The King" in the Spanish language, may refer to:

  • El Rey Theatre, a live music venue in Los Angeles, California.

Lane County to launch

Are you a frequent camper at Lane County's Harbor Vista or Richardson campgrounds? Do you need to plan this summer's company picnic?

The county now has a method to reserve a camp or picnic site in six recreation areas that offer camping, picnicking or both.

Starting at 8 a.m. Monday, Lane County will launch its new parks New Parks is an area in the city of Leicester, England. Zonta Club seeks

donations of toilet paper

The Zonta Club of Eugene is asking the public to donate toilet paper for local charities serving women and girls as part of its Great Community Toilet Paper Party.

The event will honor famed aviator Amelia Earhart, who was a Zonta Club member.

Toilet paper will be collected beginning Monday and continuing through noon Thursday at the following sites:

The meeting is for people who may be interested in adopting a child from China, India, Thailand or other countries where Holt operates programs. The evening will include comments by families who have been through the international adoption process, as well as from social workers at Eugene-based Holt, the largest international adoption agency in the country.

Company seeks change in plan to build power plant
