SVH is a member of Adventist Health. New Construction Simi Valley Hospital is in the process of building a new wing to the hospital. Family Health Fair is scheduled for 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. today at the Aspen Outpatient Center, 2750 N. Sycamore Drive. The Family Health Fair is open to children ages two 2 to 14 years and their parents or guardians. There will be a number of free health services for children, including immunizations for measles, mumps, rubella rubella or German measles, acute infectious disease of children and young adults. Vacancies exist on each of the city's four neighborhood council executive boards, and applicants are especially needed for Neighborhood Council 2, located between First Street and Sycamore Drive, and Neighborhood Council 4, located east of Stearns Street. Candidates are eligible for appointment by the City Council to serve two-year terms from Nov. 1 to Oct. 31, 2007. The councils meet monthly to review issues of community concern and provide recommendations to the city's Planning Commission and City Council.
