A family member followed Leslie to try to get her to stop, but backed off to call police in Lorane when speeds reached 80 mph, the sheriff's office said. The sheriff's office relayed the vehicle information to surrounding agencies and searched the area but was unable to locate the van, which they said had a full tank of gas. Anyone with information on Leslie or the van's whereabouts should call the sheriff's office at 682-4150. The fire broke out about 12:30 p.m. and firefighters were still battling the blaze in the veneer plywood facility late Tuesday night. They said they hope to put out the fire by this morning.
