Life term is given to Chatsworth man

A Chatsworth man who rode with the Hells Angels will serve life in prison without parole for dealing methamphetamine, federal authorities said Thursday.

Daniel Fabricant was arrested as part of wide-ranging law enforcement probe spurred by fatal casino shootings in Laughlin, Nev., in 2002. Three people died in what law enforcement believes was a feud between rival biker gangs.

Fabricant, 56, a member of the infamous gang's San Fernando Valley chapter, was convicted in July 2004 by a jury on federal charges of conspiracy, distribution of methamphetamine, and possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine. Fabricant's wife, Rachel Meyer, 23, also convicted of drug trafficking and conspiracy, is set to be sentenced in April.
