in roundtable on hunger

Gordon Harold Smith (born May 25, 1952) is Oregon's junior United States Senator, currently serving his second term. He is a member of the Republican Party.
 today to discuss what works and what can be done to gain ground in the struggle against hunger.

Smith will meet with staff, member agencies, program recepients and other stakeholders of FOOD for Lane County to gather information about hunger.

He will take what he learns back to the Senate Hunger Caucus, which he formed to raise awareness of the nation's hunger problem and address it with legislation.

The hunger roundtable will take place 10 a.m. at FOOD for Lane County, 770 Bailey Hill Road, Eugene.
