BRIEFLY WORKSHOPS TO BE HELD BY HEAD START.


PALMDALE - Palmdale School District's Head Start state preschool program will hold a ``Kindergarten Transition'' meeting for parents from 7:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday at the Pueblo Learning Center, 37212 47th Street East, at Avenue S.

There will be seven workshops, including ``Easing Anxiety About Starting Kindergarten,'' ``Computer Basics'' and ``Keeping Your Kindergartener kin·der·gart·ner also kin·der·gar·ten·er

1. A child who attends kindergarten.

2. A teacher in a kindergarten.
 Healthy.''

The first session begins at 8 a.m. The afternoon session starts at noon. No baby-sitting will be available. For more information, call the Head Start office at (661) 273-4710.

Christian parody band to perform
