ANGELES NATIONAL FOREST The Angeles National Forest (ANF) was established by executive order on December 20, 1892 as the San Gabriel Timberland Reserve. Kenyon's father, who lives out of state, positively identified the body.

A driver leaving a nearby campground saw the overturned vehicle and called the California Highway Patrol about 7 a.m. Saturday.

Planning office being expanded

SANTA CLARITA - Customer service at the county's Regional Planning office will be a little bit better starting Jan. 6, when expanded hours and staff go into effect.

The office, which is located at 23757 Valencia Blvd., will be open from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. The office will be closed Mondays and Fridays.
