BRIEFLY VAN NUYS AVIATION EXPO SET FOR JUNE.

VAN NUYS - The Van Nuys Airport Aviation Expo will be held June 24-25, which is about a month earlier than in past years, officials said Wednesday.

The earlier date will reduce some scheduling conflicts, said Richard French, a Van Nuys Airport spokesman.

An estimated 300,000 spectators are expected to attend the free weekend air show and see demonstrations and displays of military and vintage aircraft, aerobatics routines, skydiving and other presentations.
