BRIEFLY TREE RECYCLING SET FOR MONDAY-JAN. 9.


PALMDALE - Waste Management will recycle Christmas trees Monday through Jan. 9, the company has announced.

Trees will be picked up by a separate truck on the customers' regular trash collection days.

2. Something sparkling or showy but basically valueless: the tinsel of parties and promotional events.
 and decorations must be removed prior to being placed at the curb for recycling. Flocked trees cannot be recycled, but will be collected on regularly scheduled trash collection days.

Trees that are put out after this collection period will not be recycled and must be cut into three-foot sections by the customer so that they will fit in the regular trash collection truck.

Radar to be used on Caprock Road

Los Angeles County supervisors also established a 25 mph speed limit for the road, which is south of Sierra Highway near Agua Dulce Airport.
