BRIEFLY TOWN CENTER PLAN ENTERS 2ND STAGE.


GLENDALE - The first stage of a design review for the proposed $172 million Town Center was approved Tuesday, receiving support from all five members of the Glendale Redevelopment Agency.

City staffers and developer Rick Caruso will now focus on the next stage of planning for the 16-acre park-mall-condominium complex to go between Central Avenue and Brand Boulevard just south of the Glendale Galleria The Glendale Galleria is a large 3 story regional shopping mall located in Glendale, Los Angeles County, California. It is the second largest mall in Los Angeles County. It is located in Downtown Glendale. .

``We're moving along, but there is a lot of refinement that needs to be done,'' Councilman Frank Quintero said. ``This project interfaces very well with Brand Boulevard, but we need to have a connection to the Galleria on Central as well.''

The Town Center would be home to a stadium-seating movie theater, two major department stores This is a list of department stores.
