The fire sent a large plume of smoke into the air, but didn't disrupt airport operations, an airport official said. The blaze at 10700 Strathern St., near the north end of the airport, happened about 4:16 p.m. An outbuilding outbuilding n. a structure not connected with the primary residence on a parcel of property.
