Three former Notre Dame Notre Dame IPA: [nɔtʁ dam] is French for Our Lady, referring to the Virgin Mary. Elam, Crawford and Smith also were charged with sexual battery.

The 20-year-old woman, who knew the former players through her work with the athletic department, accused the men of luring her into a bedroom after she met Smith at a bar and agreed to go with the men and another woman to Smith's home. She said the men repeatedly raped her.

If convicted, the three men charged with rape could face up to 20 years in prison and $10,000 fines.

    Bielik, a junior from Valley Stream, N.Y., will face third-seeded Jessica Lehnhoff of Florida in the championship match today. Lehnhoff, a senior from Delray Beach, Fla., beat Stanford's Gabriela Lastra 2-6, 6-4, 7-5.
