BRIEFLY THAI DENIES TRYING TO PEDDLE HEROIN.


A 48-year-old Thai national pleaded not guilty in federal court Monday to attempting to sell more than a pound of heroin at a North Hollywood Buddhist temple.

If convicted, Tanat Yuvavanich, 48, could face up to 120 years in prison and $6 million in fines.

Ex-PTA president pleads not guilty
