BRIEFLY STOLEN ALUMINUM COULD BE DEADLY.


VALENCIA - About 500 pounds of worthless lithium aluminum waste shavings that could be dangerous if combined with other materials was stolen from an industrial plant, authorities said Saturday.

The theft occurred at R.A.H. Industries at 28035 Harrison Parkway between 3:30 p.m. Friday and 9:30 a.m. Saturday, said Santa Clarita Valley The Santa Clarita Valley is the valley of the Santa Clara River in Southern California. Rescuers search for four L.A. skiers

A search was under way late Saturday for two pairs of missing Los Angeles skiers near the Mount Waterman ski area of the Angeles National Forest The Angeles National Forest (ANF) was established by executive order on December 20, 1892 as the San Gabriel Timberland Reserve.
