The Amorphophallus titanum, known to Indonesians as the ``corpse flower Corpse flower or giant corpse flower can refer to either of two flowering plants:

Local man killed in freeway crash

GLENDALE - A man was killed Sunday afternoon when he lost control of his car on the northbound Glendale Freeway and drove up an embankment and into a construction area, officials said.

Track fire delays area freight trains

Power outage hits Winnetka homes

WINNETKA - More than 50 homes went dark in Winnetka on Sunday as power crews struggled to return power at 11 p.m. within several blocks around Cantera Street and Oakdale Avenue, a Los Angeles Department of Water and Power The Los Angeles Department of Water and Power (LADWP) is the largest municipal utility in the United States, serving 3.9 million residents in 2006.
