Sentman signs with Owls

OSAA reimburses schools

The Oregon School Activities Association distributed $302,375.15 in playoff travel reimbursement checks to its member schools for the winter sports winter sports: see bobsledding; curling; hockey, ice; ice dancing; ice skating; skiing; snowshoes; tobogganing.  season.

That represents an increase of nearly $65,000 over the amount distributed in the winter of 2006.

Forty nine schools received reimbursement checks in excess of $2,000 and 79 percent of all schools received some money.

Member schools receive travel reimbursement from the OSAA for costs associated with participating in state championship events.

The amount received by each shool is based on a formula that takes into account round-trip mileage, number of participants, number of coaches, and length of event. Lake Oswego Lake Os·we·go
