Annual marathon runs in November

The sixth annual Santa Clarita Marathon will take place Nov. 5 with a variety of races planned for the entire family. Last year's event marked the addition of a half-marathon race, which rounded out the mix of running events that included the marathon, 5K Run/Walk and a Kid K Fun Run. Both the marathon and half-marathon courses are USA Track and Field certified and, once again, will feature a variety of entertainment along the race route for all to enjoy. The event also features a pre-race Business, Sports and Fitness Expo 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Nov. 4 at the Hyatt Valencia.
