BRIEFLY SHERIFF'S DEPUTY HURT IN COLLISION.


LANCASTER - A Lancaster sheriff's deputy suffered minor injuries when a 17-year-old Lancaster boy broadsided his car while the deputy was on his way to an emergency just before 1 p.m. Friday, officials said.

The teen said he did not hear the siren or see the lights of the patrol car at the intersection of 15th Street West and Lancaster Boulevard.
