BRIEFLY SERIES OF CRASHES KILLS PAIR IN CAR.MISSION HILLS - A car being driven at a high rate of speed in Mission Hills hit a street sign, a pole, a parked car, a tree and a fence, then overturned and caught fire, killing two people inside, police said Sunday. The victim's body was found about 6:40 a.m. at the Van Nuys Boulevard exit from the northbound Golden State (5) Freeway, said Lt. Steven Stein of the Los Angeles Police Department's Foothill Division. Jose Lape Prieto was arrested later in the day, but no details on the arrest were immediately available, Stein said.
