 man waiting for a bus was cut by an assailant to whom he refused to give a cigarette, deputies said.

The victim told investigators that an African-American man approached him about 11:20 a.m. Thursday at a bus stop in the 1000 block of East Avenue S and asked for a cigarette. When he told him no, the man pulled a razor-type weapon and sliced at his arm and chest, the victim said.

The victim, whose name was not released, was taken to a hospital. The attacker was gone when deputies arrived.

The teen is suspected in the 6:30 a.m. burglary burglary, at common law, the breaking and entering of a dwelling house of another at night with the intent to commit a felony, whether the intent is carried out or not.  of one car near 20th Street East and Avenue Q-2, and another vehicle earlier in the day.

Investigators know the identity of the youth and said they will continue to look for him until he is in custody and the stolen property is recovered.
