Reseda man enters guilty plea in scam

A Reseda man pleaded guilty Thursday to charges stemming from a fraudulent telemarketing scheme.

Faulty bolts may be cause of accident

Broken bolts on Disneyland's Space Mountain ride are a possible cause of a July 31 accident that injured nine people, a state official said Thursday.

Disney is waiting results of an analysis of the bolts, said Richard Stephens, a spokesman for Cal-OSHA. The state agency is not investigating the accident, however, because no serious injuries occurred, he said.
