VAN NUYS - A group of Van Nuys residents voted Wednesday night to nullify nul·li·fy

$7 million in pot seized; 6 arrested

TORRANCE - Six people - four in the same family - were arrested last week and more than a ton of marijuana was seized in a Chatsworth warehouse in a bust involving Torrance and Glendale police, it was announced Thursday.

The raid in Chatsworth happened about 5 p.m. Saturday, said Torrance police Officer Dave Crespin. Locations in Encino, Toluca Lake, Fresno, Tarzana, Burbank and Sanger, Calif., also were searched, he said.

The 2,582 pounds of pot seized had a street value of about $7 million, Crespin said.

, 57, and Steven Dunn, 26, both of Toluca Lake; Erica Dunn, 40, of Tarzana; and Toni Dunn, 54, of Encino, were arrested in connection with the pot, police said.

Also arrested were Robert Tanney, 54, of Sanger and Henry Mathews, 61, of Sausalito, police said.

Each was booked on suspicion of selling and transporting marijuana and conspiracy, Crespin said. Bail was set at $5 million for each, he said.

The investigation was continuing, Crespin said.
