Police chased a reported stolen car from Panorama City to Sun Valley to Agua Dulce Agua Dulce is Spanish for "sweet water". It also refers to various locations:

 late Friday, taking the driver into custody after a nearly two-hour pursuit.

The car reportedly was stolen, said Los Angeles Los Angeles (lôs ăn`jələs, lŏs, ăn`jəlēz'), city (1990 pop. 3,485,398), seat of Los Angeles co., S Calif.; inc. 1850.  police Officer Don Cox.

Police kept within 50 feet of the car, which ran several traffic lights and at one point drove the wrong way on Van Nuys Boulevard. Two Police Department helicopters kept their spotlights on the car.

No one was reported injured in the pursuit.

Teen could face charges in death

Woman, baby hurt in vehicle crash

RESEDA - A 41-year-old woman was critically injured and a 3-month-old infant suffered minor injuries in a traffic collision Friday afternoon, officials said.

The woman, whose name was not released, was driving a 1997 silver Honda Civic south on Encino Avenue when she turned left on Saticoy and her car collided with a westbound Chevy Avalanche, authorities said.

The crash occurred about 12:25 p.m. in the 7600 block of Encino Avenue, said Los Angeles police Officer Mario Figueroa of the Valley Traffic Division.

Missing woman sought in Burbank

Santos is 4 feet 11 inches tall, weighs 100 pounds, with long brown hair and brown eyes.

Marijuana plants seized in forest

Federal officials seized nearly 2,000 marijuana plants with an estimated value of $7 million north of Ojai in the Los Padres National Forest Los Padres National Forest is a forest located in southern and central California, which includes most of the mountainous land along the California coast from Ventura to Monterey, extending inland. Elevations range from sea level to 8,831 feet. , authorities said Friday.

The plants were seized Thursday near Wheeler Gorge, U.S. Forest Service spokesman Joe Pasinato said.

Investigators found a tent and clothing at the site, but the crop's caretakers weren't present, and no arrests were made, Pasinato said.

Four are arrested in burglary case

Four Simi Valley residents were arrested on suspicion of burglary or possession of stolen property in connection with three Thousand Oaks burglaries committed while residents were asleep at home, authorities said Friday.

Three men and a woman, ages 19 to 24, were arrested Wednesday and Thursday after investigators found property in their possession that connected them to the burglaries, Ventura County sheriff's Detective Allen Devers said.
