BRIEFLY PACOIMA JOB FAIR TO BE HELD TODAY.


PACOIMA - A job fair will be held in Pacoima today as part of a city program to link job seekers with employers.

Boundary debate delayed one week

The Los Angeles City Council on Wednesday delayed consideration of new political boundaries for itself for a week.

With several members attending the Local Agency Formation Commission hearing, members decided it would be better to wait until all 15 members were in attendance.

The council has been in general agreement on creating a fifth district wholly in the San Fernando Valley, but other disputes have developed over the shape of downtown districts.

Female student held in stabbing

OXNARD - A 17-year-old female student was arrested Wednesday at Oxnard High School Oxnard High School, or OHS as it is commonly referred to, is a public four-year high school serving grades 9-12 in Oxnard, California. The school is the oldest in the Oxnard Union High School District, and is the oldest public high school in all of Ventura County.  on suspicion of attempted murder after another student was stabbed in a fight, police said.
