The foursome entered the Super Store in the 45500 block of Beech beech, common name for the Fagaceae, a family of trees and shrubs mainly of temperate and subtropical regions in the Northern Hemisphere. The principal genera—Castanea (chestnut and chinquapin), Fagus (beech), and Quercus  Avenue at 9:37 p.m. Tuesday. The men produced handguns and ordered the clerk to hand over the money out of the cash register.

The clerk handed over an unknown amount of money and a handgun kept behind the counter and the four fled.

Deputies searched the area for more than an hour but were not able to locate the four.

Auto shop owner faces fraud trial

LANCASTER - An auto repair shop owner was ordered to stand trial on charges of grand theft and fraud for charging for repairs that state investigators say were unnecessary.

The case against Daniel Sanchez, 38, of High Desert Automotive Center stems from an undercover operation conducted by the state Bureau of Automotive Repair, which sent vehicles with minor problems into Sanchez's shop.

Repairs for three vehicles should have cost about $100 each to fix, but High Desert Automotive charged between $941 and $1,740 per car, state officials said.
