 - The 12th annual Classic Wine Benefit is shaping up to be the largest ever, with more space added this year to accommodate double the previous attendance.

The event, which will benefit the Santa Clarita Valley The Santa Clarita Valley is the valley of the Santa Clara River in Southern California. It stretches through Los Angeles County and Ventura County. Its main population center is the city of Santa Clarita. He earned 2 caps for the Spain national football team.  of Le Chene, wine and cheese tastings and a number of unique items on the auction block.

Park concert set to be held Sept. 6

VAL VERDE - The community's Fall Concert in the Park will feature live entertainment, food, a bounce house and face painting from 3 to 8 p.m. Sept. 6 at Val Verde Park, 30300 W. Arlington St., Val Verde.

Admission is free to the annual concert, sponsored by the Los Angeles County Department of Parks and Recreation and the Val Verde Community Benefits Funding Committee.
