Avocados, citrus, vegetables, strawberries, and nursery products are grown.  - A lawsuit filed against eight developers by residents opposed to the controversial 1,200-foot Lang Ranch Dam will remain in U.S. District Court, a judge ruled Monday.

The judge's refusal to transfer the case to state court means that the plaintiffs will immediately pursue their case against Griffin Lang Ranch Partnership and several builders.

Residents Don Volpe and Sondra Woldar-Volpe filed suit in September, claiming the developers failed to disclose construction of the dam to prospective home buyers.

The attorney for the developer has said there was public disclosure of the dam project.
