BRIEFLY L.A. GETS GRANTS TO HELP HOMELESS.


Los Angeles will receive $50 million in grants from the Department of Housing and Urban Development for homeless programs, department officials said Friday.

The department awarded $1.3 billion in grants nationwide for homeless services, with California receiving $181 million for Continuum of Care Grants and funding social service programs for the homeless, as well as $20.5 million for emergency shelters.

GLENDALE - Glendale police Friday sought the public's help in finding other victims of a man they arrested on child molestation Child molestation is a crime involving a range of indecent or sexual activities between an adult and a child, usually under the age of 14. Free community dinner is offered
