Bus driver given 8-year assault term

POMONA - A Metropolitan Transportation Authority bus driver on leave without pay was sentenced Thursday in Pomona Superior Court to eight years in state prison for sexually assaulting a female passenger who said she fell asleep on the bus after taking cold medicine.
