Warner Park is a community park in northern Madison, Wisconsin.

Pedestrian killed on freeway ID'd

Authorities Saturday identified a woman who was killed when she walked onto the Golden State Freeway The Golden State Freeway is a north-south freeway running through Kern County and Los Angeles County, California. Originally built as U.S. Highway 99, it was re-signed as Interstate 5 in 1964.  on Friday.

The woman was identified as Irina Scherzmann, 58, a transient. Officials said she was hit by a vehicle in the southbound lanes of the freeway around 5 p.m. Friday near the Los Feliz Boulevard off-ramp in the Glendale and Griffith Park Griffith Park is a large public park at the eastern end of the Santa Monica Mountains. It is situated in the Los Feliz neighborhood of Los Angeles, California. The park covers 4,210 acres (17 km²) of land, making it one of the largest urban parks in North America.  areas.
