Woman charged with felony fraud

A woman was arrested in North Hollywood on felony fraud charges for allegedly making false insurance claims Insurance fraud or false insurance claims are insurance claims filed with the intent to defraud an insurance provider.

Teen with no gang ties fatally shot

OXNARD - A 15-year-old boy with no apparent gang connections was fatally shot in front of his home, authorities said Monday.

Police found Steven Miinster, a sophomore at Hueneme High School Hueneme High School, or HHS as it is more often referred to, is a public four-year high school serving grades 9-12 in Oxnard, California. The school was founded in 1959 and sits in the heart of South Oxnard. , lying on the sidewalk with a single gunshot wound to his body about 11 p.m. Saturday, said David Keith, a spokesman for the Oxnard Police Department. Authorities were responding to reports that gunshots had been heard in the 200 block of Bryce Canyon Avenue.
