BRIEFLY HUMANE SOCIETY SAVES THREE DOGS.


NORTH HOLLYWOOD - Three dogs whose pictures were in the Daily News on Saturday were saved from potential euthanasia at the East Valley Animal Care and Control Center when they were adopted by an animal rescue center in North Hollywood.

The dogs were taken to the East Valley shelter in Van Nuys after their former owner suffered a stroke.

The parents lost custody of their children May 17 after their youngest child died of shaken baby syndrome, Cox said.

Arciniega is a 5-foot-tall, 130-pound Hispanic with black hair, balding, and brown eyes, Joy said. Polentino is a 5-foot, 6-inch, 140-pound Hispanic with brown hair and brown eyes and a tattoo on her hand, Joy said.

Laura, who is 3 feet tall, was wearing a blue and white flowered dress when she was abducted. Jonathan Steven is 2 feet tall and was wearing red shorts and a red shirt.
