The program is sponsored by the Rosamond American Legion American Legion, national association of male and female war veterans, founded (1919) in Paris. Membership is open to veterans of World Wars I and II, the Korean War, and the Vietnam War. Post 490, Rosamond Moose Lodge 415 and their affiliated units, along with Boy Scout Troop 41, Girl Scout Troop 164, and Mid Valley 4H Club. Donations will be accepted from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday and Dec. 8 at Albertson's supermarket, 2547 Rosamond Blvd. Any donation of nonperishable food items or toys will be accepted.
