BRIEFLY HIGH-SPEED CHASE ENDS IN ARREST OF 4.

San Bernardino County sheriff's deputies tailed the suspects away from the holdup and onto the westbound Foothill Freeway (210), where the chase reached speeds of 130 mph, according to media reports.

All four suspects were arrested on Glendale Boulevard near Berkeley Avenue, where a minor crash occurred involving the suspects' car, a sheriff's cruiser, an uninvolved un·in·volved

Freeway blocked to stop suspects

A father and son who were bank robbery suspects were caught - and one of them wounded by a Pasadena police officer - at the end of a chase Saturday on the Pasadena Freeway (110), authorities said.

Police, who believe the pair is connected with two bank robberies Friday in Pasadena, blocked southbound lanes of the freeway near Avenue 43 about 1:40 p.m. to capture the duo traveling in a red sport utility vehicle. Officers shot one suspect in the shoulder during the episode.

The SUV's driver had rammed several vehicles before he was shot, according to witnesses.

Lost elderly man, daughter found

He did not return until late Friday afternoon after police located the pair in their car, Jenny Ringer said.

Chase down 10 ends with crash
