PALMDALE - A free seminar on Palmdale's lease-purchase program for new homebuyers will be held 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday in the City Council Chamber, 38330 Sierra Highway Sierra Highway is a road in Southern California, United States. It runs from Tunnel Station near the north limit of the City of Los Angeles, where it intersects with San Fernando Road and Foothill Boulevard, as well as Interstate 5, and continues north to Mojave, mostly paralleling , Suite B.

Boxing champion to help out club

PALMDALE - Former heavyweight boxing champion Larry Holmes

Larry Holmes (born November 3, 1949 in Cuthbert, Georgia) is a former world heavyweight boxing champion.
 will appear at today's opening of a Circuit City store.

 Boys & Girls Club Girls Club is a 2002 American television series created by David E. Kelley, who was also it's producer and executive producer. Only two out of a total of thirteen episodes created were broadcast on Fox Television in the United States and Global Television in Canada.  in a video-game contest playing boxing video games from 5 to 5:30 p.m. Circuit City and Holmes will present the club with a $5,000 donation.

After the doors open to the public at 6 p.m., Holmes will sign autographs until 7 p.m. Boxing gloves autographed by Holmes will be sold to benefit the Boys & Girls Club.

The store is at 39331 10th St. W., in the new Amargosa Commons shopping center.
