BRIEFLY HEARING MONDAY IN SUIT AGAINST ACC.

While Big East Conference officials are close to reshaping the conference in response to the defections of football powers Miami and Virginia Tech, the legal dispute that resulted from the departures is still ongoing.

A Connecticut judge will hear arguments Monday from the Atlantic Coast Conference The Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) is a collegiate athletic league in the United States. Founded in 1953, the ACC's twelve member universities compete in twenty sports in the NCAA's Division I.  and Miami on whether to dismiss the case on jurisdictional grounds. HOCKEY: Maxim Kuznetsov, the Kings defenseman who has missed the first two weeks of training camp because of visa problems in his native Russia, will fly to Toronto on Tuesday and could rejoin the club by the end of the week.

Kuznetsov, expected to compete for the fifth or sixth spot on defense, was denied a visa in Russia because he was late filing the proper documentation at the July deadline. He has a 5-year-old drunken-driving arrest in New York New York, state, United States
