BRIEFLY HARRISON NAMED PRISON WARDEN.


LANCASTER - Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger announced the appointment of Charles M. Harrison as warden at California State Prison-Los Angeles County, where he has been acting warden since 2003.

Harrison began his career with the California Department of Corrections as a correctional officer at the California Institute for Men in Chino in 1982.

He was promoted to lieutenant, then captain, then associate warden. He also was a chief hearing officer as well as chief deputy warden at Centinela State Prison Centinela State Prison is a men’s state prison in California, USA. It is located in Imperial County, California. [1] External links

The hospital has 254 beds, and is part of Providence Health & Services. History  in Mission Hills after he was pepper-sprayed after biting and kicking correctional officers.

On Sept. 10, inmate Eddie Ralph Arriaga, 27, was beaten, stomped and strangled by his cellmate, who now is facing a murder charge.
