GLENDALE - The state agency that oversees public employee labor negotiations has declared the Glendale Unified School District The Glendale Unified School District is a school district based in Glendale, California, United States.

The school district serves the city of Glendale, portions of the city of La CaƱada and the unincorporated communities of Montrose and La Crescenta.
 and its teachers at impasse in contract negotiations, schools spokesman Vic Pallos said Friday.

The Glendale Teachers Association had asked the Public Employment Relations Board to declare the impasse. Board officials informed the district Friday that they will appoint a mediator from the state's Mediation and Conciliation conciliation: see mediation.  Service to work with local negotiators. Two-year sentence likely for contractor

GLENDALE - A contractor who pleaded no contest to defrauding an elderly Glendale couple is expected to be sentenced to two years in state prison next month, officials said Friday.

As part of a plea agreement, John William McMillan William McMillan (March 2, 1764 - May, 1804) was a Delegate to the United States Congress from the Territory Northwest of the River Ohio. He was born near Abingdon, Washington County, Virginia. He graduated from the College of William and Mary, Williamsburg, Virginia. , 36, forfeited his state contractor's license, said Lynett Blumhardt, a spokeswoman for the Contractors State License Board.

Bill would create research institute
