Antelope School to be renovated

LITTLEROCK - Antelope School will undergo an $887,900 renovation that will include lowering ceilings to save on heating and cooling costs, installing new carpeting and cabinets, interior painting and an upgrade of the bell system.

Sixty percent of the cost is being paid for by the state and the remaining 40 percent by Keppel Union School District. The district is using a reserve fund that was set aside for this kind of work, Superintendent Tom Niekamp said.

The work will begin at the end of September and be finished by December, Niekamp said.
