ROSAMOND - The 37-year-old day manager of a McDonald's in the 2500 block of Rosamond Boulevard was shot to death early Saturday morning as she and a co-worker were preparing to open the restaurant, police said.

Two men wearing masks forced their way and demanded money. As she was opening the safe, one of the robbers fatally shot her, police said.

SUN VALLEY - Resident Rose Hart, 71, died Saturday after her car was broadsided by a flatbed truck A flatbed truck is a type of truck which can be either articulated or rigid.
