NORTHRIDGE - California State University, Northridge CSUN offers a variety of programs leading to bachelor's degrees in 61 fields and master's degrees in 42 fields. The university has over 150,000 alumni. Jobs services funds distributed

T.O. residents may get forum

THOUSAND OAKS - Mayor Dan Del Campo is expected to propose tonightthat the City Council reorganize the Community Budget Task Force into a Residents Roundtable.

In 1999, the council did away with the year-old informal sessions, where residents could discuss concerns such trash collection. Each of the five council members hosted a roundtable discussion.

Telephone worker falls on spike

SHERMAN OAKS - A Pacific Bell lineman was hospitalized after he fell on a wrought-iron spike while doing a job in Sherman Oaks.

The 31-year-old Winnetka man slipped onto one of the spikes atop the fence at a house in the 15300 block of Morrison Street, said Brian Humphrey of the Los Angeles Fire Department The Los Angeles Fire Department (LAFD), also known as the Los Angeles City Fire Department to distinguish it from the Los Angeles County Fire Department.
