NORTH HOLLYWOOD - A candle apparently started a house fire that left three firefighters with minor injuries and caused damage of $125,000 to the structure and $50,000 to contents in the 7400 block of Lemp Avenue, officials said Thursday.

Greuel tops race for council funds

NORTH HOLLYWOOD - Los Angeles City Council The Los Angeles City Council is the governing body of the City of Los Angeles, California, United States.  candidate Wendy Greuel said Thursday that she has raised $100,000 toward her bid for the 2nd District seat - the only candidate so far, officials said, to report breaking the $50,000 fund-raising threshold for the Dec. 11 election.

2nd man sought in robbery slaying
