The Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors The Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors is the five member governing board of Los Angeles County, California. Members of the board of supervisors are elected by district, the current members as of April 2006 are:

Car crash injuries claim life of teen

SANTA PAULA - A Santa Paula teen died early Tuesday morning after the car he was riding in crashed into a ditch, authorities said.

Bernardo Lugo, 17, died from multiple blunt-force injuries at a hospital about six hours after the Monday night crash, a coroner's investigator said.

Two others were injured in the 9 p.m. crash on South Mountain Road east of 12th Street in Santa Paula. Their conditions were not available.

Alarcon, Stanley given full terms

Two San Fernando Valley residents were reappointed to high-profile Los Angeles city commissions Tuesday.

W. Jerome Stanley, who was appointed July 1 as the Valley representative on the Board of Airport Commissioners, won a full term on Tuesday. The Los Angeles City Council The Los Angeles City Council is the governing body of the City of Los Angeles, California, United States.  approved Stanley for a term ending June 30, 2009.

Corina Alarcon, who was named to the Board of Police Commissioners May 19, received a unanimous vote of the Los Angeles City Council to serve a term ending June 30, 2009.
