Change sought for construction

Police suspect Gonzales of robbing a Panorama City Vallarta market about 2 p.m. Monday, stealing a pistol and then leading police on a chase to Pacoima, police said.

Officer Douglas Dingman, 42, a 16-year-veteran, shot the suspect after Gonzales fired at police in the 12900 block of Pierce Street, officials said.
