Shelter files suit over phone book

The operator of an emergency domestic violence shelter filed a lawsuit Tuesday accusing Pacific Bell of printing the address of the safe house in the 1999 San Fernando Valley San Fernando Valley

Pacific Bell's Steve Getzug said the company is investigating the claim. ``Clearly, this was very unfortunate,'' he said in a written statement. ``Pacific Bell accurately publishes millions of listings in its White Pages directories each year, and we would never intentionally print the address of a customer who requested that its address not be published.''
