PACOIMA - Two carjackers who strong-armed a 1985 Toyota Corolla The Toyota Corolla is a compact car produced by the Japanese automaker Toyota, which has become very popular throughout the world since the nameplate was first introduced in 1966. In 1997, the Corolla became the bestselling car in the world, with over 30 million sold as of 2007.  from its driver were spotted and chased in Pacoima, but eluded arrest police said Saturday.

Services for Jordan Bass and Kenneth Glass are planned for 11 a.m. at Calvary Community Church, 5495 Via Rocas in Westlake Village, said Robert Bass, Jordan's father, on Saturday.

The two other teens that had been in the car remained hospitalized following the early Friday morning crash, officials said. Joshua Kuai, 16, remained in serious but stable condition at UCLA Medical Center UCLA Medical Center is a hospital located on the campus of the University of California, Los Angeles in Los Angeles, California. It is rated as one of the top three hospitals in the United States and is the top hospital on the West Coast according to US News & World Report. . Jenae Chu, 16, remained in fair condition at Kaiser Permanente in Woodland Hills.

2 Lancaster men hurt in shooting

LANCASTER - Two 21-year-old men from Lancaster were shot Saturday evening in what authorities say was a gang-related fight in the 600 block of East Kettering Street.

One man was in stable condition at Antelope Valley Hospital after being shot in the head; the other was in good condition.
