BRIEFLY CAMERAMAN, 45, COLLAPSES AT RALLY.


STUDIO CITY - A 45-year-old cameraman videotaping a political rally in Studio City died Friday night, apparently after suffering a heart attack, fire officials said.

The man, whose name was not released, collapsed about 7:10 p.m. while filming a rally at Laurel Canyon Laurel Canyon can refer to several things:

Write-in names on ballot released

Los Angeles County Registrar-Recorder Conny McCormack on Friday released the list of write-in candidates who have qualified for Tuesday's presidential election.

The write-in candidates for president include Ralph Nader, John Joseph Kennedy, James Alexander-Pace, Anthony Jabin and John Parker. Candidates for U.S. Senate include Howard Johnson, John Emery Jones and Dennis Richter. The write-in candidate for U.S. representative in the 29th District is John Christopher Burton.

To cast a vote for a qualified write-in candidate, voters must write the name of the candidate and the office title on the grey secrecy envelope into which each voter places his or her voted ballot.
