LANCASTER - A Red Cross blood drive hosted by two clothing stores will take place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday in a parking lot at the Valley Central shopping center shopping center, a concentration of retail, service, and entertainment enterprises designed to serve the surrounding region. The modern shopping center differs from its antecedents—bazaars and marketplaces—in that the shops are usually amalgamated into .

 will be hosted by Marshalls and the Fashion Bug in the parking lot at 44500 Valley Central Way, north of Avenue J and west of the Antelope Valley Freeway The Antelope Valley Freeway is a freeway in Los Angeles and Kern counties in southern California. Signup sheets are available in the two stores, but blood donors are also welcome to come by Saturday without advance reservations, said Gerrie Stephesns, Marshalls merchandise manager. The drive is being held in conjunction with the observance of March as Red Cross Month.
