BRIEFLY 30 HOMES TO GET PLANE INSULATION.The Burbank-Glendale-Pasadena Airport Authority has awarded an $800,000 contract to insulate 30 homes. The homes - five in Burbank and 25 in Los Angeles Los Angeles (lôs ăn`jələs, lŏs, ăn`jəlēz'), city (1990 pop. 3,485,398), seat of Los Angeles co., S Calif.; inc. 1850. - are part of the airport's complimentary noise-proofing program. More than 300 homes are already involved in the program, and insulation in 400 more is still under design. Airport officials started the program to address ongoing noise complaints from residents living in flight paths, particularly at night and early in the morning.
